I expect that's true.  As I say, two independent copies of the earlier 
version behaved the same way, so reloading would not be the appropriate 
cure.  However, I saw that there has been a minor version change since the 
one I downloaded last year, so I figured I'd try the latest one anyway. 
Seems to be working OK now (in fact, the transition from the startup screen 
to the TX/RX screen works a lot more predictably than the earlier version 
did), so I'll head out to the field again.

If Lloyd and Todd aren't receiving you, I don't reckon there's any hope for 
me all the way out here during the daytime, either.  But it'll be fun to 
try.
