That's interesting news, Warren.  I guess it was only a matter of time, and 
I can see how it might be both useful and practical for "real-time" modes 
like Morse and RTTY and PSK31, where each side of an exchange takes a matter 
of seconds to a couple of minutes, max.

Gotta wonder, though...since e-gadgets seem to be all about the 
here-and-now, right-this-instant, immediate moment (witness the 4G 
commercial where the "with it" football tailgaters tell the other guys with 
lame old-timey 3G service, "that's so 27 seconds ago"), will app developers 
figure anyone has the patience to tie up their wireless devices for modes 
that take the better part of an hour for one ID?
