[Lowfer] New MW Allocation in the U.S. & Questions about LF

I have wondered if a good approach to encourage the FCC to open the LW
band might be for individual hams to request experimental licenses on
137khz.   It would serve two purposes - to prove that interference is
not a problem, and eventually the FCC may get tired of all the
paperwork for individual experimental licenses and just open up the
band.

What is the feeling of the group - would individuals asking for
experimental licences help or maybe hurt if the FCC just decided to
turn them all down?
