Well I'm confident there is real TACAMO activity right now on 22.7 kHz.
First noticed it very wideband at 1646Z (it had been on for some unknown
time). I was heading out for a nice walk given that the wind chill was
back above zero (ouch!). When I returned it had just started sending
narrowband at 1735Z. It went off at 1743Z for a very short while and
just resumed wideband transmissions, though weaker than before. I do see
activity around 22.7 kHz on the KL7UK VLF grabber at
http://kl7uk.com/VLFAlaska.html.
I answered Rick's query about the "signals" on 22.8 and 23.2 kHz by
private email. Perhaps others have pointed out that LSB
intermodulation/mixing between NAA (24 kHz) and NML4 (25.2 kHz) falls at
22.8 kHz and between NAA and NLK (24.8 kHz) falls at 23.2 kHz.
