Doug:

A simple calibration trick that works reasonably well for me: I tune WWVB at 60 KHz in CW mode...
With WOLF running, and using whichever " Tuning Scope " you prefer; in your case look for the
" Peak Frequency " of the WWVB carrier... it may show 700.308  , or 699.732  , Go into the
WOLF Config menu, and in the receive section; hit the " CAL " button... It will ask you it 700 Hz is
the correct center frequency, Click " OK " , another window opens telling you what WOLF measured,
Click : OK : again, and a third window opens giving you the sample rate, asking you if this sounds reasonable.
Click " OK " again... You will now return to the main window, and " Re-Start " WOLF... check to see that
the WWVB Carrier is within a few " milli-Hertz " of 700.... You can repeat the process to see if you can
get it almost dead on... This may not work to perfection, but it works well enough that I do get decodes..

Thanks Andy. Seems simple enough. I use a 700Hz offset for CW, so I changed it to that in the Wolf GUI.

Configuring the frequency error of the soundcard seems problematic now that Loran is defunct.
