John (and all),
Your comments are quite interesting.
I monitor NAVTEX on a regular basis. So far this Fall/Winter I have only
managed one small snippet from one of the Greenland sites and no
Europeans. However, I do copy all the Canadian and US East Coast
stations and Puerto Rico and Bermuda every night with great consistency.
Your comments sound like that from you location Bermuda and Puerto Rico
are not so regular decodes. It is interesting what differences a few
hundred Kilometers separation can make.
One of my issues is that the Canadian and US East Coast stations often
are transmitting at the same time and frequently interfere with one
another and there is not much I can do about that.
