Hi Doug,
PBO isn't back on yet. I have the current final on the bench and trying to
find its happy and most efficient load because Im just not getting the
antenna current I expected. My loading coil measures under 5 dc ohms and I
have 60 Radials out so tx efficiency seemed like the next thing to check. If
that tests good then I expect it's the current sucking trees in my yard.If
so ; its back to a LOOP !

Subject: [Lowfer] tonight?
Trying to decide what to do tonight, regarding LF reception.
No one seems to be transmitting on 137 kHz WSPR. 500 kHz WSPR seems fairly
active, and I already received two stations within minutes of trying.
Anyone know if JH is still transmitting QRSS30 on 181.818 kHz? Did he add
any ground radials?
Is PBO back on?
So far this season I have received the following Part 15 Lowfers: SJ, EAR,
TAG, WMS, & SIW. Who have I missed that is actively transmitting?
Ready for the (possible) snow tonight, cold temps, and the beginning of
some real LF.
Perhaps it's time for some transatlantic attempts?
