That's interesting Steve - will give it a try tonight - 
I tried some of the older "clear channel" xmtrs here - like WJR Detroit @ 760 and 740 Toronto ( ex CBC ).
Certainly no standard among them..... but I guess a a hertz or so each way is no big deal when you're
running 50 kW.   WJR was 798.89  and 740 Toronto was 801.27  ( both at QRSS30.

Will be adding another vertical element to the loop ( about 90 feet straight up) and hope that
improves the radiation for the Winter.

Are you permanently on the island now ?   or still commuting ?
