Gave it a valiant run though.. Seeing the same carrier line
that is showing on Dex's grabber, but no signal from " JH " 
Don't totally give up on the vertical John.. They will work,
#1 is Radials for the RF to reference to..
#2 definitely construct a " variometer " if you haven't yet..
#3 I found the Low Pass Filter really helped to provide a 
match that the TX liked to work into..
#4 A Variable Power Supply for the Final PA.. There is a 
" sweet spot " that your transistors will like, and " JUMP " 
right up and shout out.. I found that my PA likes to run around
24 volts..
Tweaking the combination of these will give you pleasing results..
