JD, thanks for looking. I stopped sending briefly and looked for NC at
one point in the evening. It was coming in fine then all of a sudden
vanished so I knew something was still wrong. Next morning I replaced
the BNC connector on the jumper into the shack. I've only seen a bit of
NC since then but signals on 14 MHz WSPR are fine. If the beacon still
isn't getting out I'll have to take down the dipole/balun for a close look.
It's been too noisy to receive much of anything on LF but last night was
decently quiet here. Locked onto lowfer TAG's frequency after midnight
for several decoding periods but never got the message. As local sunrise
neared NDB RO on 305 kHz from Rosman, NM was nice copy. OI was in there
too but nothing was seen of ONO in OR. Lowfer BR was noted on 185.573
kHz at 1100Z during the QRSS3 transmission. After sunrise the VLF Alpha
stations were all copyable.
