[Lowfer] Tuesday Afternoon in the Field

Propagation on 22 meters was much more stable than this time last week.
HiFERs MP, NC, and USC were nicely visible. MP and USC were plainly audible
much of the time, also. However, SIW continues to be among the missing.
And COM, which was not very clear last week, was absent this time.

Among the normal-speed CW beacons, WV and AJO were nicely audible at times
too! However, EH was nowhere to be heard, and neither were GNK or FRC. On
or near where EH and GNK would normally be found, there were a couple of
random ditters and some modem-like bursts from time to time.

There was no hope at all of hearing anything on LF. Static from the storms
in TX and OK was consistently S9+20 or greater, and it was still nearly that
bad at 500 kHz.

Some good news to report from Sunday, though--MP at 137.78 was nice and
clear with solar noon midway between us. Static was only up to S9 that day
on peaks, with a few clear instants between crashes and crackles.
