The last couple of nights have been fairly quiet in terms of lightning
racket and winter-like propagation seems to be kicking in. WD2XSH/6 and
/7 are reliable copy on 495+kHz QRSS, as is /12 on WSPR a bit higher in
frequency. Navtex signals from Puerto Rico have been strong and west
coast stations San Francisco and Astoria are decoding. Also, Miami has
been brief in its 0800Z transmissions so Bermuda has also decoded. New,
for us, DGPS decodes have been obtained from #935, Western Head, Nova
Scotia on 312 kHz, #925, Moisie, Quebec on 313 kHz and #764, Lincoln, CA
on 314 kHz thanks to loop nulls pointed at the strongest co-channel
stations. Hopefully lowfers other than MP and EAR will start coming
through soon.
