[Lowfer] An interesting signal on 1610 KHz A.M. last night

I have been following this with interest and just want to add another
possibility into the pot.

During the time when I was at sea as a Radio Officer 1977/1997, I remember
that some coast radio stations used frequencies not far removed from 1610
kHz. 

Looking at my 2009/2010 Klingenfuss I note that 1606.5 kHz to 1625 kHz is
Region 1 Maritime Mob + Fixed + Land Mob and Region 3 Fixed + Mob +
Radiolocation + Radionavigation.

So maybe something else to consider?
