Ive built the G3RUH 10MHz stabilized by a divide by to 10kHz, and then XOr'd against the 10kHz out of a Jupiter GPS - and all appears well - I also divide the ref 10kHz by 10 and use the 1kHz harmonics as reference points for Spec Labs. at LF using harmonics...all good so far....
However Im having a gray haired (or White in my case) - using the R75 and looking at the spectrum at the "locked" 10MHz output it appears to wander a bit using dot 120 slow on Argo but Im pretty sure its the R75/puter not the ref Osc - I cant validate this directly as there is too much variation in doppler with WWV to compare it directly. Its one of those....what comes first the Chikken or Egg situations. I know the specs of the R75 and I dont think this one has the ovened osc too so probably asking way too much at 10MHz or more.
What I should really do is compare it against my other GPS locked devices but they are safely stored up in AK....
the scope says its locked - the output at divide by at LF appears completely stable using SL so perhaps I shouldnt worry :-) Does anyone with an R75 with a similar set up using GPS "locked" get the same long term wanderings - say up to 0.1Hz over an hour :-) at 10MHz...
thanks
