Steve,
          Yes I will miss Droitwich when it goes away. A few years ago I 
drove across France and tuned into the BBC on 198 to hear a voice in 
English.
 When I posted comments about BBC reductions on the RSGB reflector I got 
hammered by a number of guys - they have little sympathy for the BBC 
apparently and are more anxious to save a couple of quid per year on their 
license fees as opposed to preserving the BBC!
