Doug:,et all: I do believe that I was seeing " PBO " ... Your captures are not just imagination...
Using the time ticks, you can see that the Dits are 1 min, and the Dahs are 3 min each, SO !!
you definitely received Ricks signal, and much better than myself with this noise source...
It's not in my house, it fires up at night, and " HAS TO BE " very close by ... It is 20 Hz wide, and
40 dB above the band noise .. If it would stay in one place; I could " Notch it out " with SpecLab...
The " Auto Notch " feature is tremendously helpful, BUT !! when the QRN source moves; so does the
Auto Notch, and when the QRN drops into the passband; the Auto Notch does its job, and kills the
wanted signal too...
I'm trying to learn more about SpecLabs " Frequence ( not a typo ) Selective Limiter in the Filter Box,
but the help files are more confusing to me than helpful at the moment ... Maybe I'll figure it out in time..
Good Job, and 73 to you:
Andy - KU4XR

Andy I think you have Rick's signal in there, just that interference is
causing you problems.
I never actually got a fully readable ID....just using my imagination to
piece things together. ;-)
