I was just in the process of ordering one of those myself this weekend, and 
was disappointed to find it's no longer available.  That means my LowFER 
will not go on the air next month with "SEK" in either QRSS or conventional 
Morse.  Fortunately, I was already working on a hardwired keyer for its 
alternate mode, DFCW, which should be ready in time for me to go on as "KT" 
before Christmas.

It appears the K12 will do everything the KID2 would, but having to be 
programmed in Morse by the user is not a very comforting thought.  More so 
for those of us who have never used a paddle, and find that prospect alone 
confusing enough.  :)
