About two hours later, they were both here in SE Kansas as well, sometimes 
audible.  A shower chased me out of the field (didn't want to have to live 
out there in the car for the next two or three days in case it kept 
raining...it actually gets that muddy sometimes), after which I got occupied 
with producing income for a few hours, so I wasn't able to try for the 
western guys today.  Will try again tomorrow--maybe also tonight.  Sure 
would be nice to hear both coasts on the same day!  It'd be a great way to 
kick off the 10th anniversary HiFER celebration.
