Been kind of close to both of those things, but the main thing here has been 
ferocious lightning, followed by too much mud to get out to the field.  I 
may give it a try tonight, though.  It is just barely firm enough to support 
the car if I'm very careful where I drive, and by tomorrow afternoon we'll 
be back in thunderstorm country here.
