Finally, just before I go out to the field for tonight's listening, here are 
the captures I mentioned Monday morning.  The "A" segment is somewhere 
between 1 and 2 AM CDT when XES was at its strongest.  As you see,none of 
the characters are really complete and it eventually faded away.  MP became 
a little more submerged in the noise as well for about an hour.  MP got its 
second wind between 3 and 4 o'clock and held up well right to 4:58 AM, the 
end of the second M in "B."  The captures went on for another hour with not 
a peep showing, until I broke camp and did other things for a couple hours. 
When I returned to the field after 8:15, there was MP again, nice and clear, 
in "C."  That pre-dawn fade is pretty devastating to signals from the 
northeast right now.
