[Lowfer] 137 kHz

On my way out to the field now to see whether anything similar is showing up 
here.

I was out there this afternoon with no signals whatsoever making it to 
Kansas on 137 or 185!  I would have worried about the antenna or receiver, 
except WWVB was its normal strength and I could copy the usual NDBs 
(although the path to Winnipeg is no longer quite as good as it has been for 
months now).

It was exceedingly quiet at the time in terms of QRN, too...until about 
2:30, when a couple small thunderstorms fired up out of nowhere.  Those have 
long gone, but the question will be how much mud they left between the road 
and the antenna.
