The cooperative electrical chappies came out within a couple of hours - I provided photos of the likely culprits based on past survey, but Im still not sure it wasn't something else - we will Wait and see as they have to make a second trip. They are pretty good really having in the past listened to my winging and subsequently removed my noisy LF interfering turtle meter and gone back to manual reads...

I'm sure they're on top of things.  If they're anything like the rural 
electric cooperative I dealt with in Georgia, they'll have your interference 
fixed and going strong again in no time!
