Many thanks for the report! I've been seeing RY quite often so I figured
there was a chance you'd see my beacon. I tried to place it between RY
and NC. The frequency is tied to an OCXO so it should stay put, but if
you'd like more "breathing room" let me know. I can easily QSY because
the beacon uses an N3ZI DDS.
The QTH is temporary until NK9M recovers from an illness. When that
happens I'll try matching my lowfer antenna for hifer purposes.
Preliminary indications from an MFJ analyzer are promising but I don't
particularly trust that equipment.
JD indicated the importance of leaving the beacon on late at night.
Since it apparently doesn't bother my LF reception I'll leave it on 24/7
for now. But I have to add a switch to silence the keyer speaker. It's
driving me crazy, hi.
