I let the system sit overnight to see if I could spot a signal from the 
JAM beacon around 187 kHz.

Even though my RX system was limited by atmospheric noise, I didn't see 
anything obvious from JAM - but:

On several occasions there were some faint lines at around 5-15Hz below 
187.000 kHz, but they were moving around in frequency too much (they had 
repeated downward "tilts") and had too much "bin dilution" at the QRSS30 
bandwidth to be readable.  Their appearance was strongest and most 
frequent at around 0530-0700 local.

I may try again overnight/tomorrow with a wider bin-width.
