Let Spectrum Lab run from 11:15 UTC until 05:00 UTC watching for
EU stations in the 136.172 KHz range. I spread the frequency
range enough to watch from 136.169 to 136.179.. I didn't see any
signals, which is not unusual for me..
I checked emails and saw the reports on Bobs beacon on 137.700 KHz
and rolled there to find him immediately. To reach a 579 copy;
I had to use my software DSP filter set to 10 cycles BW with
X3 oversampling. That gave a perfectly readable CW signal with 
the only exception being QSB. 80 watts is making the 607 mile
trip just fine..
