First, a big thanks for administrating this list! We don't hear much from you but I'm sure you're
busy behind the scenes. We appreciate that we're allowed attachments.
Most images posted here are well under 35k ... or could (and should) be. It's the rare occasion when
there's a requirement for a 'big screen' view of what's going on. Usually small 'snippits' are
sufficient. A fair amount of .jpg compression can be applied without apparent degradation because of
the random nature of the FFT background. Artifacts show up first in the areas of solid background
color with letter characters ... like a frequency scale ... which is usually of less importance than
the rest of the display.
We'll make sure to keep 'bandwidth' in mind when posting attachments.
