Amazing - small world - we didn't have a "village" yet, just the one base up at the aerodrome
and a deserted ionosphere station down on the shores of the Bay.
Then six months at Isachsen - on Ellef Ringnes Is. - eight of us for 6 months - no resupply - no planes
from Sep until April..... God bless Amateur Radio ! !
Back to Resolute - then electrocuted working on the 5 KW transmitter - flown out with no skin on hands ....
not recommended for CW !
