Noticed strong signals from NDB DF, 350 kHz, Deer Lake, NL, Canada early
this morning. Usually NY in Enderby, BC is much stronger in the morning.
It was there, along with RB in Resolute Bay, Nunavut, but DF was by far
the strongest signal. That prompted a look for TAG which yielded a first
decode in just 11 minutes.

Tuned to 185.3 kHz next and saw a couple of "WM" visual displays (the
lower frequency source in Ellsworth, NH) around 1130Z, along with strong
synthesizer spurs from local SIW. The -12 F weather seems to have really
livened up the ground wave copy.

Propagation was significantly favoring signals to the east as EMP was
just barely noticeable and nothing was detected from either WMS or UWL.
Yet, earlier in the evening the test dots from XDW were received fine.
