And where are you located? I never hear longwave stations clearly like that in 
southeast Texas even with my 10 foot loop.

What antenna are you using for LW? Vertical?
Never hear much from my in-town location in wisconsin.

LW broadcast station 171 is  extraordinarily  strong again
this Wednesday evening around 0000UTC on  East Coast
USA.  Running 20 over S-9 on the R75. I am able to use the  wide AM
filter for good  quality AM reception tonight. Some  static.
