[Lowfer] WF9XIH transmission on 472.5 KHz received in Mechanicsburg, PA.

    Extreme static crashes this evening. Hopefully some of this will clear
out in the next few days.
    WF9XIH was received at a level of S7 to S9 (with static crashes at
S9+20). If the band would have been quiet like it was a couple of days ago,
this would have actually been acceptable listening for a AM radio station. I
recorded about 30 seconds of the signal & edited out the static crashes.
Will try for a better recording in the next days.
 
    SDR-IQ running Spectravue. I also tried HDSDR which I have been using
lately but Spectravue seemed to handle the static crashes MUCH better! I
keep trying other programs but always seem to come back to Spectravue.
    Antenna - AMRAD E-Field Probe at about 25 feet.
