[Lowfer] Opening Christmas presents in the afternoon...

With so much left to do on the January columns, I was only going to stop in 
the field for a few minutes right after lunch to see which HiFERs could be 
located this weekend.  Turns out MP, NC, and USC were all present on Argo, 
and sometimes each were audible.  (No sign of SIW, though.)  Eventually, EH 
turned up, too.

Then I thought I might as well do a little work on the farm, since it was so 
(comparatively) warm, and ran two sessions at the 185.3 watering hole 
beginning about 2 o'clock.  Glad to see WMS back in action, and SIW was 
doing fine down at 185.185.

"Time to go back to town and work at the keyboard," I told myself upon 
returning to the car a little after 3:00, "but I suppose it won't hurt to 
tune down to 137.78 and make sure MP is still there."  Well, MP was indeed 
there, and so was a faint trace from NA, though it wasn't clear at that 
point what sort of message was being sent.  So, I put Argo back in 
autocapture and went off to do a bit more manual labor--specifically, 
hammering some markers back in the ground that had been uprooted or tilted 
by various unknown critters in recent weeks..  Voila!  Suddenly, there was a 
visit from Santy Claus!
