[Lowfer] Firefox problem, I think

Hi All,
 
I just downloaded the new version of Firefox and I have the weirdest problem. I'm using Hotmail and there's a full width section of the screen about an inch wide that I can't select anything from with the mouse. It's approx 1/4 of the screen down from the top. This means I can't select "New" "Send" "Spell-check" or anything else going across that portion of the screen. No I'm not going nuts (even if I CAN see "Wm"s in gabbers where others can't :)  Right now I'm in Internet Explorer and that works fine. Anyone else in Hotmail under Firefox that is experiencing this problem??
