As with 137 kHz, it was also static-y at 185 kHz here in SE Kansas last
night. However, there were fewer LWBC sidebands than usual, and PLCs
were mainly staying away from my target frequencies, with a couple of
exceptions.

WMS and SIW (the latter down at 185.185 for the night) were not
particularly audible, but very solid on screen. I was able to copy BR
by ear quite well, including the LSB voice ID sometimes. No luck with
PBO (where one of the aforementioned exception PLCs was parked) nor SJ,
Z2 or MBD, for whom I was also checking.

With minimal broadcast sidebands from Iceland in the wee hours and no
powerline buzz at all last night, I managed to see EAR the most clearly
of any time all year thus far. If I had room to show the whole window,
you could see EAR just about all alone in the blue background, with
only the faintest hint of one other carrier to be seen.
