I'm glad to report VX9BDQ arrived in southeast Kansas quite nicely 
between11:15 and 11:30 PM CDT this evening in CW mode.  When I first 
tuned in, I was doubful of my chances at clear copy because there was a 
surprising amount of static for the middle of the night in the second 
week of December.  There was also some fading, and about all I could 
hear was the occasional "V."   But before long, I began to hear more 
and more of the sequence, and eventually the entire "VVVVVV DE VX9BDQ 
VX9BDQ' came through several times.

Elsewhere, I had some pretty good results on 1750 m that I'll report in 
the morning, and some unclear results at 2200 m that i'll try to sort 
out first.  Kind of hard to tell what you're actually seeing when one 
signal is over 23 dB stronger than all the rest combined!
