It rained here over night but LF noise was fairly low anyway. Looked for
HSA at the watering hole several holes but nothing was seen. Probably
need a month or two more to see lowfer DX. But signals from NDBs like
DDP on 391 kHz from Puerto Rico were good, as were far north stations
like YPH on 396 kHz and YSK on 208 kHz. The usual Caribbean stations
like ZIY, 344 kHz, SPP, 387 kHz, and CBC, 415 kHz were in there and even
BOG, 340 kHz was weakly noted from Bogota, Columbia. DGPS packets from
Ventucopa (Lompoc), California on 321 kHz were decoded for the first
time since last winter. Also coming through on 287 kHz were Polson, MT
and Fort Stevens, OR. All in all not a bad night for LF monitoring.
