    I just got one of these cheapies in the mail and it appears to 
perform every built as well as the AADE unit I bought several years back 
and which I use a lot.  Not as neately packaged but fully functionl and 
AFFORDABLE.  It will work from an external 5 volt source or it can be 
powered from a USB port, connecting cable included.

    Bottom line is that I think it's a good deal for anyone who doesn't 
already have an AADE or equivalent.  Two weeks from eBay to back door!
