It was a noisy night again in NE IL and no doubt many other places.
WD7XSH/7 was readily decoded on 495.042 kHz WSPR, but the SNR was down
about 10 dB from usual. WD2XSH/6 was visible on 495.028 kHz sending QRSS
(now QRSS10 I think but I didn't save a capture or notes). Looked for
recently active WA2XRM on 480.048 kHz sending QRSS10 and found his "RW"
with QSB. This prompted a WSPR look for WD2XSH/12 but nothing was seen
using a dial setting of 494.4 kHz. A signal was noticed on the broader
SpectraVue waterfall and shifting to 494.5 kHz resulted in some decodes.
There was a spur on top of the signal initially but as the night wore on
the signal drifted down and clear in frequency.
