WD2XES will be on this afternoon from 1700 to 2030 UTC at normal power
on 137.779 kHz with the usual DFCW90. Ground wave propagation is much
better at 137 than 500 kHz, and the daytime has the advantage of being
quieter. Reports are welcome.

Hi John,
Excellent daytime groundwave QRSS signal copy today in South Carolina from
beacon XES.
First look at 1750UTC Saturday afternoon 09/18/10.

Distance 855 miles, bearing 32.4 degrees from my QTH.

Using R75 locked to GPS, 2 x 250Hz I.F. filters + PBT, Ratzlaff Active Whip
 up 40ft,
Audio Limiter to PC Soundcard, ARGO software

I will leave ARGO running for a while so it will build up a screen
capture.
