Hi all:

Well I wound 3 extra turns onto the inside matching coil / variometer.
When I connected the transmitter to it, and tweaked everything up;
the antenna is loading to 142 Milli Amps tonite, and the ground is
still damp. I may end up being surprised, and this antenna perform
OK. I will be doing lots, and lots of peaking and tweaking in the
days ahead, but I'm going to let it burn tonite and see if it really
does put a signal into the ether. I haven't checked my frequency;
but it should be close to 185,298.7??-ish ... Thanks to anyone who
gives it a look see tonite.

73 for now, and it sure feels good to hear the beacon back on....
