[Lowfer] Beacon Distances

Hi All,
I was wondering if when giving reception reports could the reporters
include the distance of their reception?
 
For example when Jay is hearing John's WD2XES beacon in daylight,
their cities appear to be only 69 miles apart, unless one or the
other is at a remote location?
 
It would give those of us farther away some idea of the
possible distance being covered and likelihood of hearing
the same signal.
