Got to say my Alaskan Utility was very supportive and very quick to respond - I did go very softly but did after introductions dropped that I used to track interference similar (and pirate stations) as part of my job when I was with the UK's GPO back in the 70's (as it was then) DTI/RA nee BBC now - demonstrating with a portable (PL600) was very positive - putting the Turtle on = interference Turtle off = none (helps the PL600 is pretty deaf at 100KHz!) I didnt go hard on the guy who was more interested in the field of research I was conducting and seemed pleased that an amicable (and more expensive for the Utility) actually worked out - I didnt shout foul, part 5, 15 et al just the facts mam/man, just the facts..

Now I have two more house across the road being built and it will be interesting to see if I get into round 2 (hey they can read manually three meters as easily as one, right?) - not sure where the sub station with the Turtle decoder is but we are underground for the first 750Meters, then over head, conversion to 220/110 is done in a small Green box (3.3Kv?) at the end of my drive way.
