Charles Wendell , of Austin , Texas , had a similar problem a couple of 
years back . ( Charles is a member of the part15 group ) .

He did some pretty extensive research on it at the time and this is kind of 
a condensed version , of his very thorough analysis and solutions to his 
problem .

I followed along and found similar problems at my location , even though I 
don't have remote metering .

If you have any questions , I am sure he would be happy to share his 
experience and expertise in more detail .

I don't know if in your case it would help , but this subject also came up 
on another group , and the end solution there , was the utility agreed to 
put a standard meter back in the radio enthusiasts residence .

Please keep us informed , as you can see I have been following this for a 
while now , knowing that one day it will even reach this part of Rural 
America .
