It still works!  My 40 year old Sanyo Transworld.  I didn't have 8 D 
cells so I used a 12V SLA to power it.  The internal AC supply also 
works but I wanted to take the radio out away from all the LF noise in 
the house.  No LF BC heard but did hear lots of NDB signals.  Also no LF 
BC heard in the shack with SDR-IQ connected remote antennas.  Will try 
the Sanyo another time when the LF BC signals are copyable with the SDR-IQ.

Both my HP and Wandel Golterman SLMs are on the fritz so I'm down to the 
SDR for LF reception.  The Wandel died a few nights ago while set up for 
TAG Wolf.  So far I haven't figured out how to get the computer to run 
Wolf with the SDR.
