[Lowfer] Not a RotoHammer, but a good pilot hole starter

I live on a hill consisting of granite, slate and quarts.  I'm lucky to 
get a rod more than a foot or two deep before it comes to a complete 
stop no matter what the driving force is.  I just cut it off move a few 
feet away and repeat the process.  Then I tie them all together.  I have 
several dozen rods of various depths over about a 200 foot radius all 
connected together with #8 or larger solid tined copper.
