[Lowfer] Radio repairs, and XSH/31 in the mobile

I finally found my " Round TO-IT " today, and replaced all of the
bandswitching diodes in the YAESU FT757GX-II... I knew they were 
bad, and needed replacing. Well it really made a big difference 
in the reception of the radio, as it was supposed to do. I drove
around the neighborhood listening to my lowFER beacon signal to
see how much better I could copy it. Then I stopped the car, and 
tuned around for some NDB's, and finally checked out 600 meters.
I didn't listen very long, but I did hear Brian - XSH/31...
I probably could have heard Pat, but was back home before he went
on the air.
