As of 02:55 UTC / 10:55 EDST; I concluded the Test in JASON Normal
mode on 160 meters. I received 1 report from Paul-N8ABS in Duluth,GA.
Thanks Paul for your 449 Report on the signal here from Friendsville,TN.
The power to the antenna was at 10 watts during the JASON digital
transmission, and around 12 watts when transmitting the CW ID sequence.
The antenna was my crossed 80 dipole/160 Windom at 32' AGL...
JASON is a very narrow band keyboard mode which is comporable to
QRSS-3 when in the NORMAL speed mode.
Thanks to anyone who listened for the signal, and I will be willing to
run any digital mode at low power that someone might want to experiment
with, possibly to do antenna comparisons/improvements, or to see the
difference between modes under varying band conditions. I do need to
note that I am not a CW operator, although I can, but a little on the
sloppy side though, straight key, and can't think as fast as I can
send ( senior moments, hi - hi ) Take care everyone, and may you be
Blessed.... 73 for now :
