Mike , I still keep one model of the Heathkit Cap Tester with the eye tube 
on the bench today . Good for reforming capacitors and if the precision 
electrolytics in the bridge are still accurate , it will read almost as 
close as my digital meter and is easy to read . You can also do power factor 
and leakage tests with it too .

Still a good piece of equipment today .
