That will depend on what tone frequency offset you like to use. For instance;
In CW mode on my rig, I use a 550 cycle offset, so the signal shows up at 550 Hz
on the waterfall, with a dial frequency of 185.500 KHz. That is in the narrow
passband of my filters. Dual 500 cycle filters, and my Vectronics filter is set for
a center frequency of 550 Hz. Again, on my TS450S, if I use USB, and want to
use my narrow filters, the center frequency is at 1500 Hz ( cycles ), so I set my
dial at 184.000 KHz - USB, and the signal will be at 1500 on the waterfall.
Just use 185.500 KHz( center frequency ), then add or subtract your desired
Tone offset that you normally use. For an 800 cycle tone in USB, the dial should
be at: 185.500 - .800 = 184.700 KHz, and the signal will show at 800 on the
waterfall.
