Guys all I wanted to do was get together as a group and chat .I was just 
trying to include as many people as possible and that's why I stayed in the 
General bands . I could have said 10 meters to include the Technicians , and 
that band would work on rare occasion .

Most of you have brought up the reasons that I no longer work phone . 
Broadcast stations on 40 , everyone on 75 seems to have a frequency that 
they think they own .

I just wanted what would work the best for the most people . I was running 
100 watts into a different G5RV at 50 feet last night .Yes I do have an amp 
I can dig out and will if it will help communicate with everyone .

I was operating under the highest QRN that I will probably be willing to be 
on the air with thunderstorms in the area . My QRM with the filters on the 
TS-2000 was very minimal .

No HF frequency will work for everyone all of the time .

It isn't worth causing a problem among the members of these fine groups.
