[Lowfer] GROUP ROUNDTABLE

I used to say QRP was running 4-811's instead of a 4-1000. Over the years I
built over 40 killowatt amps from desk top size to a six footer with roller
coil and vacuum variables with a 6000 volt supply, but these days I dont
have an amp in the shack. I have two projects on the shelf in the garage I
need to drag down and wire up! One is three 811's the other is a pair of
813's, both are passive grid driven across 50ohm non inductive resistor.

75 would work for me but finding a clear freq may be a problem. I have
Advanced class so that will limit how low I can go in the band. What little
phone I operate is on the high end of 75 but I have auto antenna tuner for
the TS50.My Pegasus is at TenTec for repairs, it will operate 60meters but I
dont thenk my TS50 has been modified for 60 meters I sold the one that had
been modified.Next week we might pick a 75 meter freq and qsy to check when
the lowfer roundtable ends.
